African first MTV award winner and “Dance Go” crooner, Innocent Idibia also known as 2face Idibia, yesterday announced that he has been bestowed with a chieftaincy title from the people of Kaduna.


2baba as he is also called was crowned the Tafindan Kaduna (Ambassador of Peace) due to his charity and his peaceful voting campaign initiative in the state.

The producer, out of joy broke the news to his Instagram followers, expressing his gratitude. He wrote:
“With one love from kaduna!! Little Big things create mighty things!! Maximum respect to the executive Governor of kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El Rufai. #GRATEFUL #INTERGRITY #ONELOVE #KUDENDAN #KADUNA #NIGERIA”

Background music: Movie producer decries recurring distortion of dialogue in some movies

A veteran movie producer, Bond Emeruwa, on Monday decried the recurring incidence of uncoordinated score (background music), which distorted the flow of dialogue in movies.

Emeruwa told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that the problem stemmed from the way the industry started when all comers were involved in movie production.

“It is getting better, though, it happens in a particular class of movies, which I know with time will be corrected.’’

He added that the advent of professional movie producers in the industry would gradually ease out the problem.

The actress who has been allegedly linked with various controversies, also added that, “As celebrities, we deserve some privacy which is what we have not been able to get because we are being monitored everywhere we go.”

Ghollywood actress, Yvonne Nelson, has expressed disappointment over an alleged assault case she had filed before Crime Officer, Felix Anyidoho, in charge of the Ghana Airport police station, against a certain Nigerian man, one Elvis Eze.

Reports say in September, Yvonne had alleged that Eze assaulted her for refusing him a hug at her colleague, Ingrid Alabi’s birthday party. She had alleged that Eze chased her to her car and angrily pushed her head.

Popular Nollywood actress, Maureen Ihua, has been reportedly kidnapped in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
The actress, who is based in Abuja, was kidnapped at a function in Port Harcourt on Tuesday along Ada George road in Port Harcourt by three gunmen.
