Astronomers Discover Strong Magnetic Fields in Majority of Stars

Majority of stars have strong magnetic fields which is contrary to what has been previously thought

Astronomers have found that majority of the stars possess strong magnetic fields.
An international group of astronomers led by University of Sydney has discovered that powerful magnetic field is a quite common phenomenon in stars, not rare as it was previously thought.

The federal ministry of labour and employment has debunk reports that it has been tasked with responsibility to begin receiving curriculum vitae (CV) for immediate employment, warning unemployed Nigerians to be wary of being duped.

The ministry in a statement by the deputy director, press, Olowookere Samuel, said, “The attention of the minister of labour and employment, Senator Chris Ngige, has been drawn to an online publication requesting unemployed Nigerian youths to submit application for employment at the federal ministry of labour and employment headquarter and zonal offices nationwide.”

ABUJA — The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has written to the Military High Command to release all the officers who were implicated in the fritting away of $2.1 billion meant for the procurement of arms for the prosecution of the terror war in the North-East.

Olumudi, from Kogi State, told the News Agency of Nigeria in Lagos that it was appalling that sports was not well encouraged in the country.

Police Arrest Over 500 Drug Mules In Lagos Over 2015



A whopping 577 drug suspects were arrested by the Lagos and Murtala Muhammed Airport Commands of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in 2015.

The Lagos state commander of the NDLEA, liyu Sule, and his airport command counterpart, Garba Ahmadu, announced the results of their year’s work yesterday.

According to the commanders, 438 drug suspects were apprehended by the Lagos command, while the airport command apprehended 139 suspects.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has stated that Nigeria will survive in 2016 regardless of the seeming problems.
In his New Year message posted on his Facebook page, Jonathan also expressed optimism for peace, prosperity and unity of the citizenry.
He wrote: “In the 80s, our people sang and danced to the hit song ‘Nigeria go survive’. I am convinced that in 2016, Nigeria will not only survive, she will also thrive and help drive the peace, prosperity and unity of all her people.”
