ABA—Abia State Commissioner of Police, Habila Joshak, has said that
Corporal Patrick Kalu who allegedly killed a father of two children,
Ikeokwu Onyemachi, in Aba, Abia State, is now undergoing orderly room
trial.
The Commissioner disclosed this during a condolence visit to the bereaved family, assuring them that the policemen would be dismissed if found culpable.
Recall that Corporal Kalu, in company of three of his colleagues, killed Onyemachi, a Port Harcourt-based businessman as they were going home after depositing the corpse of his friend’s father, Pa Okike, at Group Medical Practice, GMP, mortuary when the Police team attempted to seize their motorcycle.
