Finding The Love You Deserve This Coming Year

Two hands making a heart shape
Two hands making a heart shape
THE new-year is just around the corner and for many of us, December is a great time to reflect on the past year and to make a few New Year’s resolutions.

It is also a time to wipe the slate clean of all our shortcomings, past mistakes and missed opportunities and begin again with a renewed focus on fulfilling our hopes and dreams.

But all too often, we find ourselves, once again, at the end of a year with little change from the year before.
Those dreams of finding Mr. Right or your resolve to quit being a doormat to a dead-end relationship are still unrealised. And you wonder once again why you cannot seem to make things stick.

I lost her cos I cared less

Relationship

I was in a more than 2 years relationship with my girlfriend. She was more than serious for me…
There were lots of fights going on between us but we always stuck around for each other.  I used to take her for granted and was never sure of my feelings for her but I cared for her the most. Recently we had a fight and she said she doesn’t feel like being in the relation anymore.

Keeping The Passion Hot

Relationship

“And because iniquity shell abound, the love of many shall wax cold” (Matthew 24 vs. 12).
“Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out… as coals are to burning coals and wood to fire” (Prov 26 vs. 20-21).
The Bible teaches that many waters cannot quench love. Love is like a hot magma; it runs warm. Love may be calm, but it is never enjoyed cold.

In marriage, family life, relationship, what keeps what we feel for someone on for a lifetime is beyond the first spark. A match may start a spark of fire, but it would need gas to sustain the fire.

23-yr-old pop star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, on Wednesday visited the Lagos State office of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), over the ongoing child rift with his baby mama, Mrs. Sophia Momodu.

According to sources at NAPTIP, Davido reportedly arrived at the agency at 11:07am.
It was learnt that his statement on the face-off over the custody of the relationship between him and the estranged mother of his daughter, Sophia, was taken by NAPTIP.

The whole drama started after Sophia who is a cousin of popular journalist, Dele Momodu, wrote a petition against the musician through her lawyer, Mr. Gbolaga Ajayi.

Ajayi while seeking protection for the rights of his client, petitioned the NAPTIP as the case borders on child abduction and trafficking.

Recall that Davido’s father, Dr. Deji Adeleke and Momodu, paid an earlier visit to the NAPTIP office on Monday for a meeting.

However, Dr. Adeleke was said to have stormed out of the meeting barely 30 minutes after it started.
