Bosso praised Emmanuel Amuneke’s boys, but the former Nigeria U-20 coach warned them to maintain tactical discipline, as they seek to defend their title in Chile.
“I want to assure you that the Eaglets will beat Mexico and also win the U17 World Cup again. They have played with so much enthusiasm and discipline and if they maintain same till the end of the competition, it will be hard for any of the remaining teams to beat them.
“I also want to hail the impact of the highest scorer, Victor Osimhen. He has been remarkable in Chile and I tip him to lead Nigeria to the title,” Bosso told Goal.
Nigeria will take on Mexico on Thursday at the Estadio Francisco Sanchez Rumoroso.

Only one Wayne out
Alan Pardew is not everyone’s cup of tea.

It was Pardew, who identified Branislav Ivanovic, as the weak link in Chelsea’s defence ahead of their trip to Stamford Bridge in August.
“We doubled up on him a little in the first half, with Sako and Wilf (Zaha),” he said after the game.
His tactic worked a treat. Palace won 2-1.

And there was more interesting soundbite from Pardew.
